Do you have gum disease with bone loss?

LANAP is less painful and often gives better results than conventional scalpel and suture surgery. This patented surgical laser procedure for the treatment of bone loss (periodontitis) works through regeneration rather than bone resection. LANAP protocol deals with inflammation, infection, occlusion, tooth mobility, and stimulating periodontal regeneration. Avoid gum and bone loss from conventional gum surgery.

Do you have receding gums with what looks like long teeth?

Alloderm Gum Grafting – Is a more comfortable and beautiful way to treat gum recession and cover ugly exposed roots. When using Alloderm to treat gum recession there is no need for a palatal donor site. Patients recover using Advil and Tylenol. Alloderm supports tissue regeneration ultimately being transformed into host tissue. Introduced in medicine in 1994 and in dentistry in 1997. You must see the before and after photos if you have any recession.

Avoid jaw bone loss when losing a tooth!

Socket Grafting – When a tooth is removed the body quickly starts to resorb the jaw bone unless it is immediately replaced with another tooth, implant, or bone particles. Often the bone particles will require a membrane or collagen plug placed over them to contain them and keep the soft tissue from filling the extraction site. Don’t let your jawbone go away.

Have you lost bone after extractions in the past?

Guided Tissue Regeneration – The use of membranes to direct growth of bone and gingival tissues at sites with insufficient volumes or dimensions of bone or gingiva for proper function, esthetics, or prosthetic restoration. If you’ve been told you don’t have enough bone for an implant this may be an option.

The future – In the future, we may be able to grow new dental structures with stem cells. Some membranes already contain
embryonic growth factors to enhance regeneration. Dentistry is constantly changing.
